Two small dark soil spots on back. Printed on back: Distributed by Dunn Stationery and Supply, Titusville, Penna. On August 27, 1859, oil was struck on this exact site at a depth of 69 feet. The perseverance of Col. E.L. Drake, former railroad conductor, thus established the petroleum industry. The event was destined to have tremendous significance in the progress of mankind. Today the world's finest grade of petroleum is still produced in this region. Its production and refining being one of the district's principal industries (Titusville, Pennsylvania)
