Printed on back: Scenic Art Series,R.S. Reynolds Co., Washington, D.C. The Library of Congress, justly celebrated as the culmination of architectural achievement of the day, was completed in 1897 at a cost of $6,000,000. The Library of Congress Annex, shown directly behind the Library of Congress, was built at a cost of $9,366,340, and completed in 1938. It was built to accommodate 10,000,000 volumes, which is double the capacity of the main building  (Washington, D.C.)
